Couples In Tangerang Failed To Umrah, Because They Were Allegedly Cheated By Travel Of IDR 52 Million
TANGERANG - The husband and wife couple (Pasutri), Sigit Sutrisno (69) and Setiowati had to experience bitter pills. The reason is, they did not see Kaba'ah in Saudi Arabia or Umrah, because they were allegedly deceived by Umrah Travel amounting to Rp52 million.
The incident began at that time, who worked as a private employee with an offer of Umrah packages in 2015 initiated by PT Naila.
"I give part of it, I will pay off it. Then I can get the suitcase not to go," said Sigit when confirmed, Sunday, March 26.
However, until 2016, he and his wife had not received any news for Umrah departures. As a result, he immediately reported to the Tangerang Police.
Sigit said the total money he had paid to go for Umrah was IDR 52 million.
"It turned out that I didn't leave. I reported to the police from the Tangerang Police, it was recommended to the East Jakarta Police (East Jakarta), because the transfer occurred because there was a military election," he said.
On his occasion, he admitted that he received information that he was a victim of fraud, such as dozens of people. There were even victims who died because they thought about this fraud case.
"Many are because of the victims, some even died, because they thought it was fraud," he said.
Now, the Travel Party has been arrested by the Polda Metro Jaya police. This is also good news for him, he hopes that the perpetrators will be tried according to their actions.
"According to expectations when he has become a suspect. I want to be tried quickly," he said.
Meanwhile, contacted separately, the Head of the Monitoring Sub-Directorate for the Monitoring of Umrah and Special Hajj, Mujib Roni, said that the fraud case involving the Travel company PT Naila confirmed that the perpetrator had been named a suspect.
"Even now the management and parties related to Naila have been declared suspects and have been detained. And maybe soon will be transferred to the Prosecutor's Office," said Mujib.
