Checking Homecoming Route, Cirebon Police Find Holes In Several Points On Arteries And The Toll Road That Need To Be Repaired
CIREBON - The Cirebon Police, West Java inspected the 2023 Lebaran homecoming route. As a result, there are several points on the arterial and toll roads that need to be repaired.
"There are a number of things that we highlight (during the route inspection) including road readiness and road repairs, and there are still potholes," said Cirebon Police Chief Kombes Arif Budiman in Cirebon, Antara, Tuesday, March 21.
Arif said that his party was inspecting the 2023 Lebaran homecoming route, from the border of Indramayu Regency, to the border of Brebes Regency, Central Java, both on the toll road and arteries.
The inspection was carried out to determine the readiness of facilities and infrastructure for the implementation of the 2023 Lebaran homecoming.
He explained, during the inspection, his party found a number of points on the arterial and toll roads that needed to be repaired because they had holes after being hit by rain.
"We are carrying out route checks, the main thing is the readiness of facilities and infrastructure as well as road feasibility. And we are tracing it from the border of Cirebon Regency to Indramayu Regency, and Brebes Regency, Central Java," he said.
Arif said that after inspecting the homecoming route, his party would collect everything that was found from the field, and later it would be coordinated with related parties.
As with road repairs, his party will provide input to the Road Maintenance Agency in West Java, so repairs can be carried out immediately.
Apart from that, continued Arif, for the toll road, his party also immediately provided input to toll managers such as Jasa Marga, PT LMS, and others, so that they could immediately carry out road repairs.
