Heru Budi Appoints Secretary General Of The Ministry Of Transportation As Commissioner Of MRT Jakarta
JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Transportation Novie Riyanto R. as Commissioner of PT MRT Jakarta.
This is stipulated in the Shareholders' Resolution outside the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS). As much as 99.70 percent of PT MRT Jakarta's shares are owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and 0.30 percent are owned by Perumda Pasar Jaya which is also a DKI BUMD.
"With the appointment of Novie Riyanto R. as Commissioner, it is hoped that he will be able to provide direction and input to the Directors regarding the construction process of MRT Jakarta Phase 2 and subsequent phases," said the Acting Head of DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise Development Agency, Fitria Rahadiani in her statement, Wednesday, March 15.
In addition, PT MRT Jakarta also agreed to the resignation of Silvia Halim from the position of Construction Director of PT MRT Jakarta. Silvia Halim left the MRT because she was appointed Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure for the Indonesian Capital Authority (IKN).
Currently, MRT Jakarta Engineering Division Head Weni Maulina has been appointed as Construction Director of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) replacing Silvia.
"Immediately filling the position of Director of Construction is needed in the context of strengthening, accelerating, and completing the MRT Phase 2 project and subsequent phases," said Fitria.

Furthermore, Fitria hopes that Weni Maulina can accelerate the development of MRT projects in accordance with good corporate governance based on her work experience. Likewise with Novie who is now the Commissioner of MRT Jakarta.
"Hopefully the new Directors and Commissioners will be able to carry out their duties properly and with full responsibility. The appointment of the Directors and Commissioners has been carried out in accordance with the procedures and provisions of the applicable laws and regulations," she added.
