3 Foreigners Robbed While Crossing The Lantung-Plevet Cross Road, 5 Perpetrators Including Penadah Were Arrested By The Sumbawa Police
SUMBAWA - Sumbawa Resort Police, West Nusa Tenggara revealed a case of violent theft that befell two local residents and three foreign nationals (WNA) that occurred in the Lantung District area.Sumbawa Police Chief, AKBP Henry Novika Chandra said members had succeeded in securing the perpetrators of the theft with the initials AH, SR, K, HR, HL and one dealer with the initials RL."The perpetrators were detained in different locations," he said in a written statement in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, March 9.This case was revealed after the first perpetrator was arrested, namely AH while in a boarding room belonging to his friend at BTN Kekalik, Mataram City.Then the members carried out the development, so they managed to find out the whereabouts of the perpetrators K and SR who were then secured while in Ai Pun Hamlet for Serading Village, Moyohilir District."Officers then carried out a brief interrogation and received information that the perpetrator had sold stolen evidence in the form of gold weighing 41.9 grams in Langam Village," he said.Based on this information, the officers then conducted a search and managed to secure one person with the initials RL.Not long after, members again received information regarding the whereabouts of other perpetrators in Lito Village, Moyohulu District, where officers managed to secure two suspected perpetrators with the initials HR and HL."Both of them also admitted that they had been involved in the violent theft," he said.From the hands of the perpetrators, officers also confiscated evidence in the form of IDR 750,000 in cash, two foreign currency, an airsoft gun, three Hp and a motorcycle and a spare bag."The perpetrators and evidence were secured at the Sumbawa Police Headquarters for further development and legal proceedings," he said.The theft case occurred in the Lantung-Plevet Cross Road area, precisely before the Lantung Village Bridge.
