Ministry Of Health Disburses IDR 12 Billion To Build 2 Health Centers In Central Lombok
The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) disbursed a budget of IDR 12 billion for the construction of two health centers in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
Head of the Central Lombok District Health Office, H Suardi, said the funds were strengthened in order to improve the quality of health services for the community.
"In 2023, there are two health centers that have been repaired, namely the Bonjeruk and Darek Health Centers," he said in Praya, NTB, Wednesday, March 8, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said the budget for the repair of the two puskesmas used the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) from the central government with a budget value of Rp. 6 billion for one puskesmas, so that the funds for the construction of the two puskesmas were Rp. 12 billion.
"The tender process for construction is still in process," he said.
Of the 28 puskesmas units in Central Lombok, 26 puskesmas have been repaired and good conditions including those carried out in 2023. A total of six health centers that have not been repaired are being proposed to be realized in 2024.
The six health centers that have not been repaired are the Muncan, Truai, Pengadang, Peringgerate, Aik Mual and Kopang Health Centers.
"There are only six health centers that have not been completely repaired, so the funds needed reach Rp36 billion," he said.
He said the construction of puskesmas through DAK is expected to continue, because of the limited regional financial condition after the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We propose through DAK, hopefully it can be given by the central government," he said.
He said, with the improvement of the facilities for health infrastructure, it was hoped that the quality of health services for the community could be improved.
"With the existence of a better puskesmas building, it is hoped that puskesmas can provide more quality health services to the community," he said.
