Madura United Gives The Latest News About Ricki Ariansyah's Condition

Madura United revealed the latest condition from Ricki Ariansyah who collapsed when his team met PSIS Semarang in the 2022/2023 Liga 1 continuation, Tuesday, March 8.

Madura United media officer, Ferdiansyah said, the condition of the player who is familiarly called Rian has started to improve after collapsing due to a collision with PSIS players.

The terrible incident occurred when Rian scored his second goal in the continuation match of the 29th week of BRI Liga 1 Indonesia 2022-2023 at Jatidiri Stadium, Semarang, Tuesday, March 7.

"Currently Rian's condition has improved and can communicate. Earlier, Mas Rian had communicated with other Madura players who were on their way to Pamekasan," said Madura United Media Officer, Ferdiansyah, as reported by Antara.

Rian is currently undergoing treatment at St Elisabeth Hospital (RS) on Jalan Kawi, Semarang City, Central Java.

Ferdiansyah explained that the team of doctors had also conducted x-rays of digital computer technology (CT SCAN) and taken pictures of the body (rontgen).

"Please continue, I hope Mas Rian recovers quickly," said Ferdiansyah.

Rian fainted in the final minute of Madura United FC's match against PSIS Semarang at Jatidiri Stadium, Semarang, Tuesday, after scoring a goal with a header and experiencing a clash with PSIS player Farrell Arya.

In that away match, Madura United won three points with a final score of 2-0. This victory, breaking the bad trend of the club nicknamed the Sape Kerrap Army in the last four matches that lost in a row.

According to Madura United Assistant Coach, Rakhmad Basuki, Ricki Ariansyah started playing in the 83rd minute replacing Dodi Alekvan. He scored in 92 minutes with a header after receiving a pass from Lulinha.

"Thank you to all medical teams, both the Madura United medical team, PSIS Semarang and the Panpel medical team who have provided first aid so that Rian can survive and now his condition is starting to improve," said Rakhmad Basuki.
