Small Dimensions Of Wuling's Newest Electric Car
JAKARTA - Wuling launched their newest car, Bingo in China. The automotive manufacturer from the bamboo curtain country released this cute car on Thursday, March 2.
Along with the release event, pre-orders for Wuling Bingo have also been opened in China. They target to make the delivery of the car at the end of March.
The manufacturer based in Liuzhou, China offers five models of Wuling Bingo in cruising range according to the China Light Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC), namely 203 km and 333 km. CLTC is the distance standard for electric cars in China.
With its tiny dimensions, Wuling Bingo is claimed to be suitable for urban customers. The car at a glance has similarities with the Honda Brio. It has dimensions of 3,950 mm in length, 1,708 mm in width, 1,580 mm in height, and 2,560 mm in wheelbase.
For the exterior, the headlights look like ovals with cute faces and X-shaped light strips. Wuling offers four colors in Bingo, namely white, green, black, and pink.
For the legs, the rims are mounted by 15 inches. The back adopts a ducktail design. The rear lights are oval and have an X-shaped strip similar to the front lights.

In the interior, it adopts a three-tone design in black, white, and brown. Leather materials, circular geometric designs, and decorations such as chrome finishes and high-gloss paint are present throughout the interior. Also paired with a dual 10.25-inch screen is supported by the Ling OS Lingxi operating system. There is a double-spoke multifunction steering wheel and control buttons below the screen.
Wuling said as many as 15 small storage spaces in the car for items such as paper towels, keys, matches, etc. The rear seats can be folded to reach a boot volume of 790L.
This tiny car is powered by a single front motor, offering two choices of electric motor power with 30kW/110Nm of torque and 50kW of 150Nm of torque and two choices of 17.3kWh and 31.9kWh lithium iron phosphate batteries. The resulting highest speed is 100km/jam.
Finally, Wuling Bingo supports three charging modes: DC charging, AC charging and household sockets. It only takes 35 minutes for a DC fast charge from 30 percent to 80 percent. Even though it is marketed in China, there is still no confirmation whether Wuling Bingo will be sold in Indonesia or not.
