JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) of the Republic of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin visited the location of the Pertamina Plumpang Depot fire incident, Koja, North Jakarta, on Saturday afternoon, March 4. He was accompanied by the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir.
Based on VOI's monitoring, after reviewing the location of the fire, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin immediately rushed to the evacuation site at RPTRA Rasela, North Jakarta.
Vice President Ma'ruf said Pertamina would be responsible for the fire incident.
"Yes, there are no evaluation problems, then the impact problem must also be monitored, maybe those in the shelter, all of that will be handled by Pertamina," he said.
On the same occasion, SOE Minister Erick Thohir also said that Pertamina had to conduct an evaluation regarding the fire in Depo Plumpang, so that a similar incident would not happen again.
"I think not only refineries, but also fertilizers as I reviewed in South Sumatra, but also buffers between security points and of course the point of society is still too close. Well, this is what we want to rearrange, not only at Pertamina, including PLN and fertilizers," he concluded.
