2 PDIP Cadres, DKI DPRD Chairman And Bobby Nasution Participate In The 2023 Formula E Race

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta DPRD chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi and Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution are said to be included in the Steering Committee (SC) of Jakarta E-Prix (Formula E) in 2023.

The inclusion of the two PDIP Cadres as Formula E committee members was revealed by the Chairman of the 2023 Formula E SC, Bambang Soesatyo, when introducing the members of the Formula E SC and Organizing Committee (OC) at a press conference in Ancol, North Jakarta.

"There is Bobby Nasution as Deputy Steering Committee. There is Mr. Tinton, there is Gelael, there is Eko, there is Pras," said Bamsoet, Tuesday, February 28.

Prasetyo is on the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Motors Association (IMI) and Bobby is on the Advisory Board of IMI. Since the 2022 Formula E event, IMI has been assigned the technical responsibility for racing on the field.

However, when Formula E was held when Anies Baswedan was still the Governor of DKI Jakarta last year, Prasetyo and President Joko Widodo's son-in-law were not involved in the committee, not even attending the race.

When planning Formula E several years ago, Prasetyo was loud enough to highlight Formula E in terms of budget use. After funding of IDR 560 billion for payment of the commitment fee was disbursed from the APBD, Prasetyo prohibited the DKI Provincial Government from re-issuing a budget to finance Formula E.

"I was sent greetings by Mr. Pras to my friends who support this activity. Hopefully, Mr. Pras will not be so fierce anymore," said Bamsoet.

Then, continued Bamsoet, Bobby, who is now on the committee, also hopes that the Formula E event can reap economic benefits, both for the government and the people of Jakarta.

"Mas Bobby also sends greetings. He hopes that this event will be a success and hopes that this event can benefit the economy of the people of Jakarta in particular, and the people of Indonesia in general. He also hopes to increase DKI Jakarta's PAD from levies," he said.

Furthermore, former national racer, Ananda Mikola was appointed Chair of the Organizing Committee (OC) or Chair of the Formula E Executive Committee in 2023.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Sahroni, who previously served as Chair of the OC in Formula E in 2022, is now a member of the Steering Committee (SC) or the Steering Committee.

The 2023 Formula E race will be held over two days on the 3rd and 4th of June. Now, Jakpro continues to coordinate with Formula E Operation (FEO) as the holder of the Formula E license regarding the preparation for the race event.
