Yuga Labs Launches Bitcoin NFT Collection Named TwelveFold

JAKARTA The famous NFT developer Bored Ape Yacht Club, Yuga Labs, recently reportedly released a Bitcoin NFT collection called TwelveFold. This digital collection amounts to 300 generating art items featuring images made using the algorithm.

According to a report of NFT Evening Each image in the TwelveFold collection is designed with a 12x12 grid, which refers to a commonly used base-12 time system and reflects the identification of Bitcoin Ordinarys based on its printing time.

Even so, Yuga Labs has yet to announce an official date and time for the auction, which confirms it will announce information about the auction within 24 hours of the event. TwelveFold's collection adds to the list of artistic cryptocurrency collections released by Yuga Labs, in addition to the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection known for its non-fungible tokens (NFT) printed on Ethereum.

Yuga Labs insists that TwelveFoldis not part of the BAYC project and is referred to as "a deviation from what is expected". This collection will also not be used in other Yuga Labs projects. TwelveFold is one of the first Ordinary collections, which comes weeks after the launch of Bitcoin Ordinarys on January 21.

Bitcoin Ordinarys are similar to NFT because it contains digital works, but the difference is that Bitcoin Ordinarys is printed on the Bitcoin blockchain and stores all data on-chain, not in linked files.

According to data from Dune Analytics, on February 27, more than 202,800 Ordinarys have been printed on the Bitcoin blockchain. TwelveFold will be an interesting addition to the growing list of artistic cryptocurrency collections and show a higher level of creativity in the crypto world.
