Twitter Joins Reply Users, Retweets, And Likes Fake News

JAKARTA - Social media is an open and free space for everyone. There, you can share or get all the information, either through text, photos and videos.

Thus, it is undeniable that there you often find irresponsible people sharing false information or hoaxes that can harm one party.

The spread of hoax news is also very fast on Twitter, especially with the reply, retweet, and like features on Twitter that allow users to spread fake tweets with just one click.

But now, that's probably not going to happen again, as Twitter has launched a new capability that will tell you, if you get involved (likes, retweets, replyy) with fake tweets.

"Starting today, you will get a notification if Community Records begin to appear in Tweets that you have replied to, Sukai, or Retweets. This helps give people additional contexts they may miss," wrote Elon Musk's social media.

So, when you reply, like, or retweet a post, Twitter will reply to your tweets with Community Records to find out the truth of the context.

"Good job by the Community Records team! In general, Community Records are game changers to combat misinformation," Musk praised in reply to a tweet @CommunityNotes.

Community Records launched in 2021 as Birdwatch, a "community-based approach" examined by crowdsources directly from other Twitter users.

Records can be seen by all users around the world, but only people from the US, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand can contribute at this time.
