Dozens Of Orphans Visit Pesanggrahan Police To Queue For Basic Food

JAKARTA - Dozens of orphans were invited directly to the Pesanggrahan Police Headquarters. Some of them were accompanied by their parents.

The compensation event was also accompanied by a thanksgiving after Kompol Tedjo Asmoro was appointed as the Head of Pesanggrahan Police.

Tedjo replaced the previous Pesanggrahan Police Chief, Kompol Nazirwan.

"Yes, we are holding donations for orphans, God willing, routinely. We are now holding thanksgiving celebrations. Earlier we slaughtered the goats, cooked them, for all the members so that they will be more blessed," Tedjo told reporters.

Tedjo said, the 20 orphans who were given compensation came from the neighborhood of residents from several sub-districts in the Pesanggrahan District.

"We take orphans from several residents, yes, from several sub-districts we take those who really need it. We collect around 20 orphans and we give compensation," he said.

The compensation given to the orphans included groceries, snacks, and some money.

"The point is we always remember the Almighty, God Almighty, always grateful to still be given health. Also for all members so that in carrying out their duties they can serve the community well and safely control our area," concluded Tedjo.
