According to Edi, from the results of the examination of luggage, various types of cigarettes were found consisting of 10 Djarum Super cigarettes, 8 Menthol Era cigarette sprints, and 31 Full Flavor Era cigarettes.
"The goods came from Malaysia which was to be brought to Indonesia illegally," he said.
The two perpetrators and illegal cigarettes were then secured to the Pamtas Yonarmed 19/105 Trk Bogani Kotis Task Force Post for further submission to Badau Customs.
For this incident, Edi emphasized that the Pamtas Yonarmed 19/105 Trk Bogani Task Force will continue to increase the intensity of patrol activities to minimize the possibility of illegal crossings, both people and goods through unofficial routes in border areas.
"We will increase supervision on unofficial routes to prevent crimes, especially the smuggling of illegal goods," he said.
