Mino WINNER Stepped Down From Peak Time, Replaced By Moonbyul MAMAMOO
JAKARTA - Mino WINNER was declared to have resigned from his position as a judge in the Peak Time competition. Just one episode has been running, Mino is said to be unable to participate because of the group schedule and the conflicting personal schedule.
Because of the schedule, Song Mino could only join in the first round of our event. Starting from the second round, Moonbyul will be present as a judge," the producer quoted OSEN as saying today, Friday, February 17.
Moonbyul MAMAMOO became the second female judge on the Peak Time show. Active as a songwriter, Moonbyul will give criticism and advice to the participants.
The public suspects that Moonbyul's presence is the aftermath of public protests regarding the lack of female judges at this event. It is known among the jury, only the Tiffany Girls' Generation became the only female judge in Peak Time.
Peak Time is the latest competition event that started airing last week. Different from most shows, this event will bring together participants to become world-class idol groups.
The contestants who take part in Peak Time are not trainees who have not debuted but male idols who have debuted either actively promoting or coming from the disbanded K-pop group.
Some of the contestants who were revealed were members of the group GHOST9, BAE173, KINGDOM, DKB, 24K, ATBO, ROMEO, BAP, and many others.
Guided by Lee Seung Gi, a series of Peak Time judges are idols and singers who have been poor across the music industry. They are Super Junior's Kyuhyun, Tiffany Girls' Generation, Jay Park, Lee Gikwang HIGHLIGHT, and Kim Sungkyu INFINITE.
