Central Lampung Education Fund Sunat, Buron Corruptor Husri Aminudin Was Arrested By The AGO

BANDARLAMPUNG - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) together with the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) arrested Husri Aminudin (58), convicted of corruption in the Central Lampung Regency Education Office (Disdik) special allocation fund.

"The convict Husri is a DPO from the Central Lampung Kejari. We arrested the convict on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Griya Fantasi, Way Halim Permai, Bandarlampung," said Head of the Lampung Attorney General's Office, I Made Agus Putra, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, February 11.

He continued that the convict was a suspect in a criminal case of corruption in the procurement of SD/SMP books, props, language laboratory tools, and the procurement of furniture at the Central Lampung Disdik sourced from a special allocation fund in 2010.

In the security process, he continued, the suspect was cooperative so that the process went smoothly. After being successfully secured, the suspect was taken and detained at the Bandarlampung Class I Prison.

"The convict violated Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 Paragraph (1) letter b of Law No.31 of 1999 as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption by imprisonment for seven years," he said.

Made added that in this case, it had caused state losses of Rp. 500 million and compensation of Rp. 9 billion.

"Through the Prosecutor's Tabur program, the Attorney General asked his staff to monitor and immediately arrest fugitives who are still on the loose for execution for legal certainty. The Attorney General also appealed to all prosecutors' DPOs to immediately surrender and be held accountable for their actions because there is no safe place for fugitives," he said.
