EA And Respawn Entertainment Release Nine-Minutes Gameplay Of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

JAKARTA - Electronic Arts has finally released gameplay from the title Star Wars Jedi: Survivor with a video duration of up to nine minutes.

Published by IGN and viewable on YouTube, the gameplay provides an overview of one of the new planets players will explore, set five years after the events of the release of the 2019 hit Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

The mission sees protagonist Cal Kestis, one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy, looking for help repairing his ship after a crash landing on a planet called Koboh.

Last December, EA announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor would be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 17, 2023, but the schedule was pushed back 1.5 months.

"Over the last three years, the Jedi team here at Respawn have poured their collective heart and soul into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and we are proud to say that the next chapter in the Cal Kestis saga is complete," Respawn said in a statement announcing the delay.

Instead of originally slated for release on March 17th, EA and Respawn Entertainment announced on Twitter that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be delayed by a month and a half, to April 28th.

Currently, the studio claims to be fully focused on the final stage, which includes bug fixes to improve performance, stability, polish, and most importantly, the player experience.

But, for the team to reach its best quality, Respawn still needs time to reach the level of polish that its fans deserve later.

"We've added an important six weeks to our release schedule, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now launch globally on April 28," the studio said.
