Arriving In Medan, Jokowi Ready To Attend The Peak Of The 2023 National Press Day Commemoration Tomorrow

SUMUT - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) a working visit to North Sumatra (North Sumatra). The head of state is scheduled to attend the 2023 National Press Day Commemoration and inaugurate the infrastructure.

Based on the press release received, President and First Lady Iriana Jokowi arrived at the Soewondo Air Force Base, Medan City, North Sumatra, Wednesday, February 5, at 17.50 WIB.

Upon arrival, President Jokowi and First Lady were greeted by the Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi and his wife, Pangdam I/Bukit Barisan Maj. Gen. Achmad Daniel Chardin, North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Pol. RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak along with his wife, and Kajati Idianto and his wife.

Also present to welcome the arrival of the President and First Lady, namely the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution and his wife, Danlanud Soewondo Colonel Pnb. Reka Budiarsa and his wife, Danlatamal I First Admiral Johanes Djanarko Wibowo along with his wife, Pangkokoghabwilhan I Laksdya Irvansyah and his wife, and Pangkosekhanudnas III/Medan Marsma TNI Mohammad Nurdin and his wife.

After that, the President and First Lady went straight to the hotel where they spent the night.

On Thursday 9 February, the President and First Lady are scheduled to attend the 2023 National Press Day Commemoration Peak, inaugurate infrastructure, and visit several markets.

Previously, President Joko Widodo and First Lady Joko Widodo and their entourage took off using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, Wednesday, at 15.55 WIB.

Also accompanying the President and First Lady on a flight to North Sumatra Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Presidential Military Secretary Admiral TNI Hersan, Commander of Paspampres Marsda TNI Wahyu Hidayat Sudjatmiko, and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin.
