Update On COVID-19 As Of February 5: New Case 171 From Examination Of 16,762 Speciments
The Task Force for Handling COVID-19 released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 16,762 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 171 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,731,135 people and active cases have increased by 11 to 4,205 cases," said COVID-19 Task Force data, Sunday, February 5.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 51 cases and a total of 1,539,913 cases. Followed by West Java which has 46 new cases with a total of 1,235,185 cases. Banten has 25 new cases and a total of 366,002 cases. East Java has 18 new cases and a total of 637,686 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 88 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an additional 26 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 16 recovered cases, and Banten with an additional 16 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 114,898,845.
"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 1.61 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 661 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
Furthermore, currently there are 204,262,851 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 175,124,720 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 69,571,463 and the fourth dose was 1,541,196. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
