Conglomerate Transmart Chairul Tanjung Bakal Gandeng Grab For Inter-Message Services

JAKARTA - The modern Transmart retail, owned by Chairul Tanjung, is preparing a new breakthrough to increase sales.

One of them is collaborating with a transportation service company, Grab Indonesia to serve delivery orders.

Vice President of Corporate Communication Transmart Satria Hamid revealed that his party has several strategies to survive this year. Among other things, increasing the synergy of business units between groups of PT corporate.

Then, said Satria, management will also develop cooperation with digital bank Allo Bank. Including Bank Mega and Mega Syariah.

"Cooperation with Grab (for delivery)," he said when contacted by VOI, Friday, February 3.

Not only that, said Satria, Transmart will also develop an online retail business line.

Satria said that his party would cooperate with Bukalapak's e-commerce.

"We are developing a business line for online retail in collaboration with Bukalapak to develop allo fresh. We will also hold promotions every week," he explained.

Not only online sales development, but Satria emphasized that his party also plans to add more outlets this year.

"We will still open a new shop," he said.

However, Satria stressed, his party will look at the conditions in the early trimester to decide on opening new outlets.

"But we wait and see first. We are now concentrating in the early trimester is internal consolidation," he said.
