KPK Ensures Investigation Of Alleged Bribery And Gratification Of Lukas Enembe Will Be Completed
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will investigate the allegations of bribery and gratuities that have ensnared the inactive Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, to the end. Lukas Enembe is guaranteed that the KPK will be held accountable for his actions in court.
"We ensure that the case investigation process continues according to legal procedures," said the Head of KPK Reporting Section, Ali Fikri, to journalists, Monday, January 30.
Ali ensured that the investigation would not be carried out haphazardly. The suspect will still get his rights, including those related to health.
This is called Ali as a form of fulfillment of human rights. "(We, red) continue to pay attention to the suspect's rights, including health care," he said.
As previously reported, the KPK extended Lukas Enembe's detention for 40 days until March 13. He had to undergo detention at the KPK Detention Center, Pomdam Jaya Guntur Branch.
In this case, it is suspected that Lukas received money from the director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijantono Lakka, so that the company could get a job. There was an agreement fee of 14 percent of the contract value and payment must be free from tax deductions.
After the agreement, Rijantono's company received three projects. The first is the improvement of Entrop-Hamadi Road with a project value of IDR 14.8 billion.
Rehabilitation of supporting facilities and infrastructure for Integration PAUD with a project value of IDR 13.3 billion. Finally, the venue environmental management project is developing the AURI outdoor with a project value of IDR 12.9 billion.
After the project was won, Rijantono handed over IDR 1 billion to Lukas. Apart from that, Lukas is also suspected of receiving gratuities of up to tens of billions which the KPK is currently investigating.
Apart from Lukas, the KPK suspects that there are other officials involved in receiving bribes and gratuities. However, investigators are still investigating.
