Next Week, BPK Will Immediately Audit The Financial Statements Of Biak Regency Government For 2022
BIAK - The government of Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, has prepared regional government financial reports for the 2022 fiscal year to be audited by the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) representative of Papua in February 2023.
"All budget-wielding powers for the leadership of regional apparatus organizations or OPD, spending treasurers to drafting officials must complete the 2022 financial accountability report for the BPK audit which is scheduled for February 6," said Biak Numfor Regent Herry Ario Naap as quoted from Antara, Sunday, January 29.
Herry Naap asked the Biak Numfor District inspectorate and the Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKAD) to complete the OPD and village heads' financial accountability reports before the BPK auditor team conducted a preliminary examination.
Gunadi, Head of the Regional Asset Financial Management Agency for Numfor Biak Regency, said that all original evidence of financial accountability report transactions from 51 OPDs were already in the hands of the Inspectorate.
Gunadi admitted that internally the Biak Numfor Regency Government had conducted an audit of the use of the 2022 budget on 51 powers of OPD budget users and village heads using village funds.
All power users of the OPD budget for the Biak Numfor Regency Government, continued Gunadi, have mostly submitted their 2022 financial accountability reports to the Biak Numfor Regency inspectorate.
"We hope that when the BPK audit is carried out for 30 days, all financial transaction files will be complete with the original document evidence," said the Head of BPKAD Gunadi.

He said that it would be better if Biak Numfor Regency Government staff carried out the preparation for the BPK audit of the financial reports of the Biak Numfor Regency government in the 2022 fiscal year.
Based on BPKAD Biak data, in 2022 the regional income of Biak Numfor Regency will reach IDR 1.4 trillion and regional spending is IDR 1.35 trillion, so that there is a temporary excess of regional income of IDR 48 billion.
