Corruption Eradication Commission Calls Lukas Enembe's Confrontation At RSPAD Until Declared Healthy By a Doctor

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the non-active Papua Governor Lukas Enembe will be moved to the KPK detention center after being declared healthy by a team of doctors. Currently, the suspect in alleged bribery and gratuities is being transferred to the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital.

"(The postponement was carried out, red) until the medical team stated that it was OK to be transferred to the detention center again," said the Head of the KPK Reporting Section, Ali Fikri, to VOI, Friday, January 20.

Ali previously explained that Lukas Enembe was dismissed because the doctors at the hospital wanted to monitor his health. He made sure there were no emergencies because the non-active governor could carry out his activities as usual.

"He can sit, can walk to the toilet, including eating alone at the hospital," he said.

The KPK also ensured that Lukas' rights during the dispute would remain at the forefront. "Including his personal doctor, we will invite him to accompany the LE suspect," said Ali.

As previously reported, Lukas was detained after he was named a suspect in alleged bribery and gratuities for project procurement at the Papua Provincial Government. During detention, he appeared to be using a wheelchair.

In this case, Lukas Enembe is suspected of receiving money from the director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijantono Lakka, so that the company could get a project. It is suspected that this collusion was also carried out by officials in the Papua Provincial Government.

The agreement between them is to provide a fee of 14 percent of the contract value. Fees must be net of tax deductions.

At least, there are three projects that Rijantono got for this evil agreement. The first is the improvement of Entrop-Hamadi Road with a project value of IDR 14.8 billion.

Rehabilitation of supporting facilities and infrastructure for Integration PAUD with a project value of IDR 13.3 billion. Finally, the venue environmental management project is developing the AURI outdoor with a project value of IDR 12.9 billion.

After the project was won, Rijantono handed over IDR 1 billion to Lukas. In addition, Lukas is also suspected of receiving gratuities of up to billions of rupiah.
