Ask For Population Data Accuracy Into Attention, Rieke Diah Pitaloka PDIP: There Are Millions Of People's Fates In Your Hands
JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Rieke Diah Pitaloka, asked to improve the accuracy of the population data carried out by the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, supported by all parties. He reminded that millions of people's lives were at stake if this was not done immediately.
This was conveyed by Rieke during a speech at the Opening of National Reforestation, which is part of the 50th Anniversary of the PDI-P (PDIP). This activity was carried out in Lambang Sari Village, South Tambun, Bekasi Regency.
"Behind the population data and state data, the fate of the lives of millions of people is at stake. We must not mess around fighting for this data," Rieke said in front of PDIP cadres, Sunday, January 15.
This PDIP politician said that at the beginning of Risma becoming Social Minister, it turned out that there was actual population data. As a result, a lot of assistance from the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was not on target and was even enjoyed by the people who could afford it.
However, recently, Rieke said that Risma's population data had begun to be fixed. In fact, tens of millions of recipients of fictitious social assistance (bansos) were finally detected.
"He dismantled 52 million recipients of fictitious social assistance," he said.
Even so, Rieke reminded the Ministry of Social Affairs to continue to improve their data. Do not let state losses of up to Rp126 trillion due to misdistribution of aid based on the calculation of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) repeat itself.
"If the data is not correct, then the results are not clear. PDIP needs people's support to ensure the people's fate is really known who it is. If someone plays with people's data, 1 NIK is cloned to 40, will we be silent or opponent? Against!" he said.
Rieke wants a syndicate of fictitious data utilizers to disappear. However, this work must receive support from many parties apart from the PDIP.
"Not only supported by PDI-P cadres, because not all people choose the PDI-P. We are not different, we fight for the fate of the Indonesian people regardless of the political party by ensuring the accuracy of state data," concluded Rieke.
