COVID-19 Update as of January 10: 469 New Cases, 612 More Recoveries
JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 41,691 specimens were examined with the results of 469 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,724,281 people and active cases have decreased by 146 to 7,920 cases," he was quoted as saying from data from the COVID-19 Task Force, Tuesday, January 10.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 124 cases and a total of 1,537,584 cases. Followed by West Java with 118 new cases with a total of 1,233,566 cases. Banten had 62 new cases and a total of 365,417 cases. East Java had 51 new cases and a total of 637,113 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 284 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 104 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 46 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 39 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 114,247,548.
"The positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 1.91 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases is recorded at 2,190 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had COVID-19 cases.
Until now, 204,080,880 people had received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,854,075 people had received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 68,771,161 and the fourth dose was 1,193,489. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
