JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI Syariefuddin Hasan or Syarief Hasan. He was summoned as a witness regarding the alleged corruption in the distribution of revolving funds by the Cooperative, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (LPDB-KUMKM) Government for 2012-2013.

"The investigation was carried out at the Red and White House of the Corruption Eradication Commission," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, January 4.

Ali has not detailed the material that investigators will investigate. However, Syarief has served as Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises for the 2009-2014 period.

Apart from Syarief, the KPK has also scheduled an examination of a private party named Endang Suhendar. He will be examined as a witness.
