Puncak Arus Balik Di Terminal Pulo Gebang Diperkirakan Pada 2-3 Januari 2023
JAKARTA - The Coordinator of the Operational and Partnership Service Unit (Korsatpel) of the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, Hendra Kurniawan, said that his party predicts that the peak return flow for the Christmas and New Year holiday season will occur on January 2-3, 2023.
"The prediction from the previous meetings is January 2-3," said Hendra at the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, quoted from Antara, Saturday, December 31.
Team Commander (Danru) 4 Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Bonari added, the peak of density at the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal is expected to occur at night until the morning.
"In the middle of the night, early morning, until six in the morning. So from areas such as Nusa Tenggara, Bali, East Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, Sumatra," said Bonari.
To anticipate the surge in backflow passenger density, Hendra said the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal would deploy officers in three shifts.
"Indeed, the operation here is 24 hours, we have prepared 24-hour officers to be divided into three shifts. There are approximately 20 operational officers per shift themselves, plus five people from the admin to record the arrival system and departure of passengers," explained Hendra.
In addition, Hendra said officers would also be assisted by agencies such as the TNI and Polri to ensure security in the terminal area.
Furthermore, he said, Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal also has about 90 surveillance cameras or CCTV points.
"So the passengers who come here, both in the morning and at night, still feel safe," he said.
For passengers who will travel through the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, Hendra appealed to continue to apply health protocols by wearing masks that cover the nose and mouth, keep your distance, and wash your hands with water and soap.
"And don't forget to prepare travel requirements such as ID cards, tickets, and the PeduliLindung application," concluded Hendra.
