Bogor Police Chief AKBP Iman Imanuddin revealed that the angkot driver with the initials AS (49) was the perpetrator of the murder of a 28-year-old woman whose body was found in Cimandala Village, Sukaraja, Bogor Regency, Wednesday night, December 14.

"At night the victim came home from work on an angkot, coincidentally in the angkot alone, only there were victims and perpetrators," said AKBP Iman during a press conference, at the Bogor Police Headquarters, Cibinong, Bogor, West Java (West Java), Monday, December 26, confiscated by Antara.

Initially, the victim was on his way home from his workplace at a ceramic shop in Bogor City, riding an angkot route 08 Citeureup-Pasar Anyar.

The US perpetrator then tried to rape the victim who was sitting in the front seat, but failed. Thus, the perpetrator took a knife in his bag and stabbed the victim 17 times.

"From the stab against him, the victim died, then the body was dumped by the perpetrator on the edge of Jalan Raya Bogor-Jakarta," said Iman.

He explained, from the perpetrator's statement, initially the perpetrator saw the victim playing with his cell phone so that there was an intention to have it.

"And (the perpetrator) also had the intention of raping the victim, in the end the victim resisted, finally the perpetrator stabbed the victim with 17 stabs," he said again.

Currently, the police have detained AS, which is threatened with being charged with Articles 340, 338, 365 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code with the threat of a maximum sentence of life imprisonment or the death penalty.

"For the victim's valuables, the perpetrator also took them to own, both cellphones and jewelry belonging to the victim," said Iman again.

Previously, the head of the local RT, Edi Wanto, explained that at first the residents thought that the woman's body was a victim of a hit and run. However, the woman wrapped in a blanket was found injured in the neck, so residents immediately reported it to the police.

According to him, the condition of the body at the beginning was found still wearing complete clothes and shoes. The woman is also still wearing some jewelry.

"Wearing a short skirt, but it slipped a bit. He was wearing a white shirt with a Mickey Mouse picture," he said.
