Update On COVID-19 As Of December 25: Active Cases 20,680, Down 449 Cases
The Task Force for Handling COVID-19 released the latest data on COVID-19 cases in Indonesia on Sunday, December 25, 2022. Active cases of people exposed to COVID-19 in Indonesia have 20,231 cases.
This number decreased from the previous COVID-19 cases which reached 20,680 cases on December 24, 2022. There was a decrease in active cases by 449 cases.
Meanwhile, there are currently 21,010 specimens and 1,634 suspects.
"Currently, the number of confirmed positive people is 6,716,124 people, 6,535.356 people have died and 160,537 people have died," quoted through the covid19.go.id website on Sunday, December 25.
Meanwhile, based on data sources from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the total number of COVID-19 cases on December 24, 2022 in 34 Indonesian provinces is 6,715,586 people.
For the total local transmission there are 501, PPLN 37. Meanwhile, on December 25, there were 548. The cumulative total of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 6,716,124 people.

Meanwhile, the total number of deaths as of December 24, 2022 in 34 provinces was 160,524 cases. Local transmission on December 25 there were 13 cases, with a cumulative of 160,537 cases.
Previously, the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 30,705 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 784 new positive cases of COVID-19.
