JAKARTA - Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said the car accident that fell at Pier 2 Merak Port, Friday, December 23, was a valuable lesson for PT. Lake and Crossing River Transportation (ASDP). "We ask that the accident case does not happen again," said Budi Sumadi after the Coordination Meeting at the Executive Pier of Merak Port, quoted from Antara, Sunday, December 25. Therefore, his party asked ASDP to be responsible for the victim's family to provide compensation, maintenance and what needs to be done. "We saw car accidents that fell at Pier 2 Merak Port being a valuable lesson and in the future managed even better," he explained. According to him, the coordination meeting on Christmas and New Year transportation (nataru) involved BMKG, ASDP, BPBD, Regional Government and Police.
Where the coordination meeting is so that the facilities and infrastructure at the port are evaluated and repaired properly.
