Develop Aggregators, MSMEs Can Help Each Other to Market Export Destination Products
JAKARTA - The Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs (MenKopUKM), Teten Masduki, ensures that the government continues to provide facilities to support efforts to increase exports of MSME products. One of them is related to the establishment of an export ecosystem.
"In this export ecosystem, aggregators and export MSMEs are brought together, supported by export financing institutions such as the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) and BNI Xpora, including business meetings between aggregators and SMEs", said Teten Masduki in a statement quoted by Antara on Thursday, December 15.
Second, he continued, regarding the development of the capacity and capability of MSME exports accompanied by assistance and facilitation of standardization.
"Likewise with export certification for MSME products such as Organic, HACCP, BRC, ISO, to the establishment of Joint Production Houses", he explained.
The third is the facilitation of buyer mapping and market intelligence (ability to analyze the market) for products made from natural ingredients for the European market.
Fourth, market expansion collaboration with the Indonesian Diaspora which is an aggregator, including the Norwegian market, collaboration with Kadin in the form of an Indonesia Trading House in Switzerland, the collaboration between the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, the Ministry of Religion, the Ministry of Trade, and Kadin, to meet the needs of pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims.

"Given a large number of MSMEs and not all MSMEs have the adequate human resource capacity to export products, the Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprises Ministry emphasizes developing aggregators. MSMEs that are successful in exporting products are encouraged to become aggregators to help other SMEs export goods", said Teten.
Teten added, the government is targeting an increase in the contribution of national MSME exports to around 17 percent in 2024.
This target certainly requires collaboration and synergy with various parties such as what is currently being done by BNI Xpora and Customs to encourage the contribution of MSME exports in Indonesia.
"I hope that the 2022 Xpora International Logistics & Trade Expo can become a model that is implemented in other regions and spurs the enthusiasm of MSMEs to export", he said.
