Amazon Games Announces Blue Protocol Release in 2023

JAKARTA - Amazon Games and Bandai Namco Online have announced their agreement, in which the two companies will bring Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPG) Blue Protocol in 2023.

Blue Protocol will be free to play, and will launch for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 in the second half of 2023, with a closed beta on PC earlier in the year.

"Co-developed by Bandai Namco Online & Bandai Namco Studios and published by Amazon Games, Blue Protocol is a free-to-play multiplayer online action RPG where you become the hero of your own sci-fi fantasy adventure," said Henry Stelter, Editorial Head, Amazon Games in a statement. Xbox blog.

Amazon Games VP Christoph Hartmann said that Blue Protocol is a beautifully crafted game. "It's like a living anime," he said.

According to him, Bandai Namco Online has created a world of the highest quality with an engaging story that will build a community and immerse players in an action-packed adventure.

"As the popularity of anime continues to increase globally, we look forward to bringing Blue Protocol to players in the West next year," concluded Hartmann.

Blue Protocol will take players on a heroic journey through Regnas, a world teetering on the brink of annihilation after thousands of years of conflict and technological overuse.

"Work together as a team with other players to tackle missions, fight boss battles, and engage in massive online raids against towering monsters," reads the game's description.

Players can fully customize their character, and choose from five unique classes at launch: the rugged Blade Warden, the valiant Twin Striker, the versatile Keen Strider, the multifaceted Spell Weaver, or the damage-dealing Foe Breaker.

"Assisted by Echoes, mystical creatures summoned with powerful attacks, players will unlock their memories and fight to save the world," concluded the announcement.
