The Case Of A DKI Transportation Agency Officer Being Hit By A Nyelong Cyclist Into The TransJ Line When The CFD Ends In Peace, Even Though It Ends In Peace
JAKARTA - Head of the Control and Operations Division of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Masdes Arouffy explained that the continuation of the cyclist case hit the Transportation Agency officer who reprimanded him for entering the Transjakarta route.
Masdes explained that this incident occurred during the free day of motorized vehicles (HBKB) or car free day (CFD) in the HI Roundabout area, Central Jakarta on Sunday, December 11.
"There was a cyclist who hit the officer on duty at HBKB. Because the cyclist was driving on a special lane for the Transjakarta bus, the officer was directed to get out of the lane. However, the cyclist continued to drive until it hit the Dishub officer," said Masdes when contacted, Monday, December 12.
Masdes said the officer suffered minor injuries to his lips as a result of being hit by a cyclist who he reprimanded.
Police officers also intervened to mediate between Dishub officers and the cyclist. Despite being injured, officers decided to resolve the case peacefully.
"The cyclist apologized and the matter ended peacefully. The Dishub officer has also been on duty as usual today since 06.00 am," said Masdes.

On that occasion, Masdes reminded cyclists not to ride their bicycles on the busway lane. Given, when CFD, cyclists are directed in the far right lane but do not get out of the lane limit with the busway lane.
"Cyclists are also asked not to go more than 25 kilometers per hour. This is for the safety of fellow HBKB activists because they are traveling in crowded areas of people walking," he said.
For information, this case is in the spotlight on social media Twitter. The @Areloghy account uploaded a photo of a road bike cyclist with a Transportation Agency officer who was mediated by the police next to the Tosari Bus Stop, Sudirman Street.
As an eye witness, @Areloghy said the case began when the cyclist entered the Transjakarta route and received a warning from the Transportation Agency officer. However, the cyclist even hit the Dishub officer.
"There are thin tire cyclists, tight clothes but the shoes don't print into the TransJakarta Line, they are reprimanded by Jakarta Transportation Agency officers, instead they are hit by the officers. Really!!" write the @Areloghy account on Sunday, December 11th.
