In 2022, The State Property Grant Of The Ministry Of PUPR Capai Will Be IDR 241 Trillion
JAKARTA - The Minister of Finance and the Minister of PUPR held a ceremony for the handover of the State Property Status Grant (BMN) phase II worth IDR 19.08 trillion.
The BMN of the Ministry of PUPR on the occasion of the Phase II Ceremony was handed over to 3 Ministries/Institutions amounting to Rp1.46 trillion (8 percent), 26 Provincial Governments amounting to Rp3 trillion (16 percent), 391 Regency/City/Village Governments amounting to Rp14.1 trillion (74 percent), 5 Universities amounting to Rp149.6 billion (1 percent), and 156 Foundations amounting to Rp350.9 billion (2 percent).
This activity is interpreted as one of the efforts to accelerate the delivery of infrastructure that has been built by the Ministry of PUPR which is funded by the APBN for further use so that it can be used as widely as possible for services for the community.
"The Ministry of PUPR is ready to build infrastructure from APBN funds for the welfare of the community," said PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono at the BMN Status Grant and Transfer Ceremony at the PUPR Jakarta Ministry Office on Wednesday, December 7.
The form of asset management of BMN that was handed over, namely Grants and Transfer Status Usage. The amount of BMN grants in this phase II ceremony is IDR 17.63 trillion and the transfer of usage status is IDR 1.46 trillion which includes road infrastructure development, such as national arterial roads, special girth roads, land for national roads, and suspension bridges, including plastic scattering machines and generators.
For information, on March 29, the Ministry of PUPR also handed over grants and transfers of BMN status worth IDR 222.58 trillion to Ministries/Institutions, Regional Governments, Foundations and Universities.
Of this total value, IDR 217 trillion of which is a grant downgraded on National Roads to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Thus, the Directorate General of Highways this year has handed over grants and Transfers to BMN Status with a total value of IDR 218.48 trillion.
"This difference in numbers (phases 1 and 2) is due to the construction of national roads and suspension bridge programs to support alternative roads. We are indeed assigned to build special ring road infrastructure and suspension bridges," explained Bina Marga Director General Hedy Rahadian.
The suspension bridge is still being built for the ease of moving goods and services while improving the regional economy. During 2015-2021, the Directorate General of Highways succeeded in building a total of 407 suspension bridges.
Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani in her speech said that the infrastructure built by the Ministry of PUPR every year using the APBN is not always owned by the central government BMN but is granted to parties deemed capable of carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
"DKI Jakarta received a road grant worth IDR 217 trillion. The submission of BMN to the local government, other ministries or institutions does not mean_downgrade but only transfers of ownership," he said.
He added that the process of granting PUPR assets to the local government, such as clean water, national roads, alternating roads, bridges, and machinery, drinking water facilities, including the construction of this school, is not just building and then finished but treats assets at the governance level to be jointly guarded and utilized optimally.
Sri Mulyani emphasized that the development actually built civilization so that it had to create an impact on the welfare of the people. And the Ministry of PUPR has the mandate to build infrastructure that has been realized into BMN assets in the form of infrastructure throughout Indonesia.
This development fund is mostly obtained from public taxes, so it must be conveyed to the public how the management of state money is carried out and the public can see real results. Building it is based on mutual trust, respect, and accountability because it involves the livelihoods of many people. So building civilization and social contracts based on accountability and trust.
"Setting this state asset to be maintained, utilized optimally, and often explain to the public the proceeds of our money so that the benefits and benefits can be seen," he said.
