BANTUL - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region said the tornado that hit the Selopamioro Village area, Imogiri District on Tuesday afternoon had an impact at 142 points."The impact of the tornado is a total of 142 points," said the Commander of the Center for Disaster Management Operations Control (Pusdalops PB) BPBD Bantul Aka Luk Firmansyah when confirmed in Bantul, Antara, Tuesday, December 6 evening.He mentioned that the impact of the tornado details are 138 residential points, one-point road access, one-point electricity network, one-point telephone network, one-point livestock pens and one-point public facilities.Most of the damage to residents' houses and other buildings was on the roof because it was hit by a tornado.Until now, he said, his party had not been able to confirm the estimated loss due to the damage to the house, because it was still calculated. "It's still in the process," he said.For this incident, BPBD Bantul appealed to the public to always be aware of sudden weather changes this rainy season.Imogiri Police Chief Kompol Suharno said he had deployed personnel to help evacuate with Bantul Police personnel, TNI, Bantul BPBD, Tagana, RAPI, TRC, FPRB and volunteers."Currently, a number of volunteers have been assisted. We would like to thank all parties who took part in this evacuation process, including all volunteers who have worked hand in hand to deal with the impact of the damage," he said in a written message.Based on information, the tornado occurred at around 12.45 WIB. Selopamioro Village area affected by the incident were Kalidadap I Hamlet, Kalidadap II Hamlet, Srunggo I Hamlet and Srunggo II Hamlet."There were no casualties from that incident, but dozens of houses were damaged, especially on the roof," said Imogiri Police Chief.
