Back To Music After 7 Years Of Vacuum, This Words KARA

JAKARTA - The legendary K-pop idol group KARA, expressed their happiness to be able to return to music after seven years of not greeting his loyal fans.

"It's almost impossible to break up (to reunite as a group)," said Seungyeon, quoted by Antara from Yonhap, Sunday.

"I think we should try making this (album) the smallest thing we can do together this year, and we've come this far... I still don't believe it, and feel proud of my friends in the group and fans."

KARA returned through a mini album (EP) titled "MOVE AGAIN" which is a marker of 15 years of debut from the group. Entertainment agency RBW said all members participated in songwriting and album production to complete a work that had KARA's unique color.

On the other hand, Nicole added that the album feels more special for the group because its members care about the whole process of making it.

"I want to give a better album as a gift for fans because of their hiatus. Apart from being impatient to perform album songs, I'm also curious about how they will be accepted by fans," he said.

KARA's newest EP has four songs, namely "When I Move," "Happy Hour," "Shout It Out" and "Oxygen". The title song "When I Move" is an addictive song that combines intense rhythm and strong vocals.

Jiyoung participated in writing and composing the song, while Nicole wrote the Korean part of the lyrics.

The group has featured at the 2022 MAMA Awards, a year-end music award event organized by the local Mnet cable channel, in Osaka, Japan, recently.

Meanwhile, KARA debuted in 2007, and has become one of the top second generation K-pop girl groups, along with Girls' Generation.

KARA is known for popular songs such as "Pretty Girl", "Mister", "honey", and "Lupin".

Selain di Korea, KARA juga memiliki basis penggemar yang besar di Jepang setelah "Mister" menjadi hit besar di negara itu.
