Jokowi: Dayak Community Support Is Needed In The Development Of IKN Nusantara
WEST KALIMANTAN - President Joko Widodo said support from the Dayak community was urgently needed in the construction of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) in East Kalimantan (Kaltim).
This was conveyed by the President in his remarks at the opening of the Bahaupm Bide Bahana Taru Borneo Rajakng (TBBR) event in Pontianak, West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan), Tuesday 29 November.
"I am very happy, very honored to be present to stay in touch, to meet the extended family of Tariu Borneo Bangkule Rajakng in a very noble big meeting this morning," said Jokowi, starting his remarks.
The President then expressed his highest gratitude and appreciation for the support provided by the people of Kalimantan, especially from the Dayak Tribe for the development of the capital city of the archipelago in Kalimantan.
According to him, support for the Dayak Tribe is very much needed in the development of IKN.
"Because we will build the capital city of the archipelago, on the island of Kalimantan, of course the support from the Dayak people is very, very much needed," said Jokowi.
Based on the Antara report, Jokowi then asked directly the thousands of TBBR participants who were present about the support.
"Are you really supporting it? The capital city of the archipelago in Kalimantan?" asked Jokowi, who was immediately agreed by the TBBR participants.
On that occasion the President also had time to ask the origin of the TTBR participants. The President assessed that the participants in the TBBR activity had high enthusiasm, because they were willing to come to the event from various parts of Kalimantan.
Where did I ask the ladies from in front of me where did you come from? From Sintang. Where did you come from? From Melawi. Where did you come from? From Badau. Where did you come from? Nangabaau. And from here it's not close, there are eight hours, some are four hours, some are still dark this morning, it's still dark at dawn, right? This shows that the spirit of ladies and gentlemen is a high spirit," said the President.
