The road asphalt was cleared by spraying a water hose from a fire engine unit. "After receiving reports from residents at around 08.40 WIB, we deployed 1 medium-sized fire car to the location. The cleaning of the oil spill started at 09.02 WIB," said Head of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, Friday, November 25. The cleaning of the oil spill attached to the asphalt lasted for several minutes by 5 Gulkarmat personnel.

"The oil spill length is about 20 meters. As a result of the oil spill, two motorcyclists became victims because they slipped," he said. The cleaning of the oil spill was completed at 09.15 WIB.
