JAKARTA - The National Police found the bodies of five earthquake victims buried in the Cijedil Village area, Cianjur, West Java. Two of them are said to be hugging."Two of the five bodies found were mothers and children who were hugging when the team found them," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo in his statement, Friday, November 25.The discovery of the five bodies was due to the deployment of sniffer dogs or K9 from the National Police and Basarnas.The trained dog sniffed the aroma in the area where there were still fatalities. Until finally found the whereabouts of the five bodies.In addition, continued Dedi, the evacuation process was not easy. This is because access and terrain where the bodies are found are quite difficult because the location is steep and near the river."The appointment of the bodies was carried out using a bamboo stretcher by six joint personnel at the TKP," he said."The five bodies were immediately taken to the Sayang Hospital for identification," continued Dedi.Apart from that, the National Police and a joint team will continue to search and evacuate. Thus, all missing victims can be found immediately."We will not stop here, the National Police and the joint team will continue to search for all earthquake and landslide victims in Cianjur," said Dedi.As is known, based on data from BNPB as of Thursday, November 24, afternoon, 272 victims died.Of the hundreds of victims, 165 of them can be identified. Meanwhile, 107 other bodies are still being sought.
