TANGERANG The high intensity of rain since Sunday, November 13, has flooded 4 areas in Tangerang Regency. This happened because the flow of the Sabi river in Tangerang overflowed.

Head of Emergency and Logistics Division at BPBD Tangerang Regency, Abdul Munir recorded that 4,751 heads of families (KK) from four regions, namely Pasar Kemis, Curug, Kelapa Dua and Sepatan, were affected by flooding. The number of families most affected is in Curug, Tangerang Regency.

Meanwhile, for Kelapa Dua sub-district in Bencongan Village, there are four RWs with a total of 1,477 families submerged in flood water due to the overflow of the Sabi River.

"Then in the Pasar Kemis sub-district, 1,005 families were also reported to have been flooded, precisely in Permata Tangerang Housing, Kuta Jaya Village and Villa Tomang Baru Housing," he said.

Regarding the water conditions in the four areas, Munir said that the height reached 50-160 centimeters. Therefore, his party prepared a number of rubber boats and public kitchens for the affected residents.
