Involved In Brawls, 20 Poncol Vocational School Students Are Sanctioned To Wash Their Parents' Foot
The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police arrested 20 Vocational High School (SMK) students at the Kemayoran Poncol who were involved in a brawl on Jalan Boulevard, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
The arrests of the 20 students were the result of the development of a brawler who was arrested first.
"Previously we secured one student, then the number of students increased to 20 students who were arrested," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police, AKP Fauzan, when confirmed, Wednesday, November 9.
AKP Fauzan said that all the students who were detained were the result of coordination between the police and the school. After being secured, the parents of the students were also immediately summoned to the police station.
"So these students have made a statement that they will not do any more brawls," he said.
Not only that, the students were also sanctioned to wash the feet of their respective parents as a sign that they regretted their actions.
"Many students cry while washing their parents' feet. They are also immediately sent home after making a statement," he said.
Previously, it was reported that two groups of teenagers were involved in a brawl on Jalan Boulevard, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 8.
A perpetrator with the initials NB was arrested by the police after the brawl.
