Etihad Airlines Presents Armani/Casa Products for Business Class Passengers

JAKARTA - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) airline, Etihad, is working with Armani/Casa to create a customized product for business class cabins.

Called the Constellation Collection, the range includes tableware, crockery, crockery, serving utensils, as well as matching pillow and blanket sets produced by the luxury Italian brand, an extension of the fashion label Armani.

The plan, this product will be launched on the plane in December. For long-haul passengers, you can also enjoy the airline's new memory foam mattress.

Embellished with geometric patterns, the new business-class accessories designed by Armani are featured in UAE-inspired colors: dark green for the date palms, aquamarine to represent the mangroves, and slate to symbolize the Abu Dhabi skyline.

"The design of the tableware and utensils is very important but the most important is the way the food is served. It's about having a classic and durable style, then you let the food speak about the style of the glassware," Terry Daly, executive director of experience guest, brand, and marketing at Etihad, told The National News as quoted on November 8.

"This project is not something that happens in just a few weeks. I am very pleased to say, during COVID-19, we have not sat idle and we have worked with Armani for almost two years to be able to launch today what we consider to be the product of the future. ahead," he added.

In addition to the fashion-forward aesthetic, durable collectible materials and innovative designs will reduce equipment weight by up to 10 percent, resulting in less fuel burn and fewer emissions.

The announcement coincided with news that the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs has transferred full ownership of Etihad Aviation Group to ADQ, an investment and holding company based in Abu Dhabi, with a portfolio that includes Abu Dhabi Airport, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, ADQ Aviation & Aerospace Services Company.

This move supports efforts to transform Abu Dhabi into a global aviation hub, providing airlines and passengers with superior offerings in aircraft engineering and cargo services to ground handling, as well as an unrivaled customer experience with the opening of the new Abu Dhabi Airport terminal.
