BMKG Predicts Many Spots In Indonesia Will Be Rained Today, Including DKI Jakarta And West Kalimantan

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rain with moderate to heavy intensity to flush most of Indonesia on Monday, November 7.

Rain with moderate to heavy intensity has the potential to flush Aceh Tamiang, Langsa, East Aceh, Southeast Aceh, South Aceh, and surrounding areas in Aceh Province.

In the Province of West Sumatra (West Sumatra), rain with moderate to the heavy intensity which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds have the potential to occur in Fifty Cities and its surroundings during the day and Sijunjung, Dharmasraya, South Solok, and its surroundings at night.

Almost all regions in the province of South Sumatra (Sumsel) are also forecasted to face moderate to heavy rains.

Rain with moderate to heavy intensity of short duration is forecasted in the afternoon to evening in Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), East OKU, South OKU, Pagar Alam, Lahat, Muara Enim, Lubuk Linggau, Musi Rawas, Musi Rawas Utara, Banyuasin, Ogan Komering Ilir, Palembang, and Ogan Ilir.

During the night and early morning, moderate to heavy rains have the potential to flood the areas of Musi Rawas, Musi Rawas Utara, Musi Banyuasin, Banyuasin, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir, Lubuk Linggau, Muara Enim, and Ogan Komering Ilir.

In the province of North Sumatra (Sumut), heavy rains that can cause floods and landslides have the potential to flush the eastern coast and some mountainous areas.

Rain with moderate to the heavy intensity which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds are also likely to occur in South Bangka, Central Bangka, East Belitung, Belitung, and surrounding areas during the day.

Parts of Banten Province, such as northern Lebak, Serang, and South Tangerang, are forecasted to experience moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by strong winds and lightning.

Rain of short duration is likely to occur during the day to night in most areas of Bengkulu Province, including Mukomuko, North Bengkulu, Lebong, Rejang Lebong, Kepahiang, Central Bengkulu, Bengkulu City, Seluma, South Bengkulu, and Kaur.

The central, western, eastern, and southern parts of Bali have the potential to experience rain that can be accompanied by wind and lightning with a short duration from noon to late afternoon.

In DKI Jakarta, residents are asked to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon and evening.

The Gorontalo region is forecasted to experience moderate to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds, while Jambi and West Java are likely to experience moderate to heavy rain in the morning and evening.

In the East Java Province (East Java), temporary rains are forecast in the morning in Malang, Ponorogo, Pacitan, Trenggalek, and Sumenep regencies.

From the afternoon until the afternoon, rain has the potential to occur in Lamongan, Bojonegoro, Jombang, Nganjuk, and Sampang districts as well as the cities of Madiun, Blitar, and Malang.

In the West Sulawesi (Sulbar) region, moderate to heavy rain that can be accompanied by lightning or thunder and strong winds are likely to occur around Polewali Mandar and all Mamasa areas during the afternoon and evening.

Rain with moderate to heavy intensity has the potential to flush areas of South Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi as well as parts of North Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi during the day and night.
