WONOGIRI The Wonogiri Police Satreskrim has arrested the perpetrator of an abuse of a woman who escaped for 6 months. The Wonogiri Police Chief, AKBP Dydit Dwi Susanto explained that the perpetrator with the initials APJ (48) had carried out severe abuse against a female trader with the initials AS (50).

Dydit again explained that the perpetrator had been arrested since Monday, October 31 at a bus stop in the Wonogiri area just before boarding the bus.

"The perpetrator was arrested while trying to escape by bus. Meanwhile, the time of the persecution was discovered on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the perpetrator's house in Giritirto Village, District, Wonogiri Regency. The incident occurred at around 09.00 WIB," Dydit said in a written statement, Tuesday, November 1.

Dydit explained, according to the witness, namely the victim's neighbor, the perpetrator took the victim away by car. However, Dydit continued, the victim's bag and cellphone were left at the Jatisrono sub-district office.

The family felt restless because the victim had not been found at home since the morning. The next day, the victim's family received information that the victim had just been a victim of abuse.

"The family received information that the victim was in the Mento Wonogiri area sick. The victim's family went straight to the Mento," explained Dydit.

At that time, the victim's face was known to be bruised, his eyes could not be opened and his fingers were injured by sharp objects. Not only that, the victim's body smells of gasoline.

When asked, the victim admitted that she had just been abused by the APJ perpetrator at her house. At that time, the victim was taken to the perpetrator's house using a red car by force.

"On the way, the victim had begun to be mistreated, namely being slapped and held captive so as not to get out of the car. At the perpetrator's house, the victim was again abused," he explained.

The police chief added that the victim was also taken to a hotel in the Pracimantoro area to be invited to an unregistered marriage. There, the victim was again abused by hitting him in the face.

Because at that time he did not get a penghulu, said the Police Chief, the victim was taken back to the perpetrator's house and put in the room. The perpetrator also had time to force the victim to have sex but the victim refused.

"The incident was then reported to the Wonogiri Police. After conducting an investigation, members received information that the perpetrator went out of Wonogiri," he explained.

"The Resmob team then received information that the perpetrator was at a bus stop in the Brumbung area. After being arrested, the perpetrator admitted his actions," added AKBP Dydit.

Until now, the Wonogiri Police are still conducting routine examinations of the perpetrators.
