Although There Were No Violations, Ganjar Pranowo Was Reminded By Senior Party On Presidential Disciplinary
JAKARTA - The Chairperson of the Honorary Division of the PDIP DPP, Komarudin Watubun, emphasized that the party's discipline applies to all members from Sabang to Merauke, without exception. Including, for Ganjar Pranowo who is now serving as Governor of Central Java Province. Komarudin emphasized that he was responding to Ganjar Pranowo's statement that he was ready to run as a presidential candidate. As Chairman of the Honorary Division of the DPP, Komarudin admitted that he had reminded Ganjar Pranowo about the importance of being disciplined, maintaining, and respecting the decisions of the Congress.
Although, he said, there were no violations of organizational discipline by Ganjar when answering interviews on television stations some time ago. The reason is, Ganjar only stated that he is ready for the nation and state. "Except, if Mas Ganjar announces his candidacy, it will only be called a violation of organizational discipline," said Komarudin.
Not only Ganjar, according to Komarudin, the statements of PDI-P cadres are very disciplined in maintaining and respecting the decision of Congress V.
"As an example, let's look at the statement by the Chairman of the DPR RI, Mbak Puan said, 'if anyone wants me to be President, thank God. But the nomination mechanism and authority is in the hands of Mrs. Mega as Chairperson of the PDI-P," he said.
