Kills His Friend While Drinking Tuak, Former Board Member in Karo Surrenders to Police
MEDAN - A former member of the Karo Regency DPRD, North Sumatra with the initials MLS (56) is in police custody. MLS surrendered after stabbing Empindonta Sinulingga (34) while drinking palm wine at a shop in Simpang Lingga, Lingga Village, Simpang Empat District, Karo Regency.
The Head of Public Relations of the Karo Police, Iptu M Syahril, when confirmed, said the MLS perpetrators surrendered to the Tigapanah Police after several days of running away.
"It's true that he was arrested last night. He turned himself into the Tigapanah Police. Then from the Police, he handed over to the Karo Police", said Iptu Syahril, confirmed by VOI, Monday, October 17.
Currently, the investigation of MLS is still being carried out by investigators. Police have not been able to explain in detail the motives of the alleged perpetrator who was desperate to kill the victim.

Iptu Syahril explained that the murder by a former member of the Karo Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) occurred on Thursday, October 13, in the evening. The incident began when the victim and the alleged perpetrator and a number of them drank palm wine while singing.
"Without the witness knowing what the cause was, the victim and the alleged perpetrator got into a fight. The victim was stabbed with a sharp weapon in the stomach and chest", he explained.
After the incident, the victim was immediately rushed to the hospital by the witness. Upon arrival at Kabanjahe General Hospital and undergoing an examination, the victim was declared dead.
"As soon as the alleged incident occurred, the perpetrator immediately fled", he said.
