37 Days Towards The 2022 World Cup: Waiting For Shakira's Certainty, Dua Lipa And BTS Appear At The Opening Ceremony In Qatar
JAKARTA - One of the most anticipated moments of each World Cup is the Opening Ceremony. In Qatar 2022 it will take place on Sunday, November 20 at Al Bayt Stadium in the city of Jor at 19.00 (local time).
It is still not officially known who the singer will appear. However, FIFA hopes to seal the deal with Korean boy group BTS and according to various media, Shakira can return to the opening ceremony.
According to Total Reporter, Colombian singers will open the World Cup alongside Dua Lipa and BTS, who will make their debut on the opening stage of the World Cup.
"The 'Waka Waka' singer will not be alone on stage, because he will be accompanied by other artists who are currently popular around the world: Dua Lipa and the popular Korean K-Pop group, BTS," the report read, quoted Friday.
FIFA has yet to confirm the news, but rumors are starting to spread and fans are already imagining how spectacular the show will be before the opening match between Qatar vs Ecuador.
