Pontoon Boats Collide With Houses, Cages, And Residents' Boats On The Banks Of The Batang Hari River, Jambi

JAMBI - The TB Maju Daya 27 Pontoon ship, which was towing the BG Sinar Lestari 319 ship, crashed into a resident's house on the banks of the Batang Hari River. Precisely in Tebat Patah Village, Taman Rajo District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province.

Dirpolairud Jambi Regional Police Commissioner Michael Mumbunan confirmed this incident. It evacuated and secured the ship. There were no fatalities.

"Yes, that's right, we have secured the ship that had an accident and is prohibited from sailing until this problem is resolved", he said in Jambi, Antara, Tuesday, October 11.

This accident caused material losses such as damaged houses, cages, armpits, or boats belonging to residents.

"For the interpretation of material losses of around hundreds of millions of rupiah, but we will still do the recalculation", said Mumbunan.
