UFC Fighter Passport Khamzat Chimaev Detained In St. Petersburg, There Are Indications Will Be Recruited For The Russian War
JAKARTA - UFC middleweight phenomenal fighter Khamzat Chimaev is being held in St. Petersburg after the Russian government confiscated his passport.
Chimaev was born inunito but moved to Sweden when he was 19 years old, where he later became one of the best fighters in the country.
As a result, the fighter's planned trip nicknamed "Borz" to his country of birth was postponed until further notice.
On October 6, 28-year-old Chimaev is also planned to attend the premiere of the film in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. However, it remains to be seen whether the "Borz" will persist in its plans given the current difficulties.
"Paspor Chimaev was arrested in St. Petersburg, where he got off before heading tounico, when he was going to visit his family, so he could no longer leave the country," Brazilian media reported, Comate.
Russia was recently in the eye of the storm as its method of recruiting people to take part in conflicts with Ukraine.
Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader ofunitas, and Chimaev are friends, who can help secure Chimaev's release from Russia.
However, Kadyrov strongly supports Vladamir Putin and even said he would send his own teenage son to fight for Russia in the conflict.
Does this mean Chimaev is also recruited for the Russian-Ukraine war?
