Praises Troops' Advancement In East and South, President Zelensky: Only A Matter Of Time When We'll Repel The Invaders
JAKARTA - President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday the Ukrainian military had made great and rapid progress against Russian forces, liberating dozens of cities in the south and east of the country from occupation.
"The Ukrainian army is advancing in a fairly fast and strong manner in the south of the country in the context of the current defense operations," Zelenskiy said in an evening video address.
"This week alone, since Russia's pseudo-referendum, dozens of population centers have been liberated. All of them are in the Kherson, Kharkiv, Lugansk, and Donetsk regions," he said.
He further explained that in the southern Kherson region he said the towns of Liubymivka, Khreshchenivka, Zolota Balka, Biliaiivka, Ukraiinka, Velyka, Mala Oleksandrivka, and Davydiv Brid had all been liberated.
"And this is not an exhaustive list," President Zelensky said, as quoted by CNN.
