PEKANBARU - Head of the Penitentiary Division (Kadivpas) of the Riau Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Mulyadi, said that the officers of the Class II A Pekanbaru detention center were immediately dismissed for distributing crystal methamphetamine after the person concerned served his sentence in court.
"The Ministry of Law and Human Rights even encourages law enforcement to reveal other perpetrators of drug cases involving the warden. He has played drugs and must bear the consequences. The person concerned has made the image of the institution bad, so it must be revealed who the network is," said Mulyadi in Pekanbaru, Antara, Tuesday, October 4th.
He said his party also encouraged the police to uncover the shabu-shabu distribution network in the Class II A detention center in Pekanbaru.
In addition, he added that his party had coordinated with the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, who remained committed to not protecting any officers who violated the law.
The policy was implemented in relation to a warden named Yudi Nata Saputra who was arrested by the Narcotics Unit Opsnal while patrolling Jalan Rambutan, Tuesday (27/9) night. The prison warden was arrested while riding a motorcycle and passed in front of the PTPN V office.
